Field hockey comes up short against Eastern Mennonite

HARRISONBURG, Va - The Hood College field hockey team battled, but would come up short against Eastern Mennonite 4-1. 
 
Inside the Box Score How it Happened 
  • After neither team scored in the first period, EMU's Brandy Troutman would record the games first goal at 18:23 assisted by Cassidy Armstrong. 
  • The lead did not last long as Hood's Olivia Sobchak would tie the game up unassisted at 20:57. 
  • EMU would add one more goal before the halftime break from Armstrong bringing the halftime score to 2-1.
  • Hood had several chances to tie the game in the third period before EMU broke one through at 36:06 from Troutman assisted by Armstrong bringing the score to 3-1.
