Danielle Allen graduated with a bachelor of bachelor of arts degree in economics with minors in mathematics and East Asian Studies in 2005, and later earned her MBA at Hood in 2007.

She holds the school records in career rebounds, blocked shots and steals and is the only player in school history with over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Her 1,066 career boards are nearly 200 more than any other Blazer, while her 216 blocks were three times as many as any Hood player when her career ended. Allen has the top two blocked shot seasons in the Blazer annals and her 93 steals in 2001-02 are also a school record. As a senior, she ranked among the Division III leaders with 2.8 blocks per game.

Allen grabbed a school record 23 rebounds on November 30, 2001. She is responsible for five of the nine games in school history of eight steals or more, including the school record of nine. Allen also has five of the 11 games in the Hood records of at least six blocked shots, including two of the three seven-block performances.

For her performances, Allen was a two-time member of the All-Atlantic Women's Collegiate Conference First Team.

She helped lead the Blazers to three AWCC Championship games, including two AWCC titles and two trips to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
