Santo Provenzano graduated in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication arts. A member of the inaugural men’s basketball team in 2003-04, Provenzano ended his Blazer career as the most prolific scorer in Hood history despite playing just three seasons. In 74 games in the blue-and-grey, Provenzano scored 1,633 points, reaching double figures in all 74 games. He sits atop the Hood record book in field goals attempted (1,101), field goals made (596), free throws attempted (695) and free throws made (427) and ranks second all-time in field-goal percentage (.541), fifth in rebounding (405), fifth in assists (147) and eighth in steals (69). A member of seven all-tournament teams, he earned most valuable player accolades at the 2006 Moravian College tournament and was voted to the 2005-06 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III south region all-star team. During the 2004-05 season, he scored 596 points and ranked ninth in all of NCAA Division III with a scoring average of 23.8 points per game. Originally from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Provenzano currently resides in Dublin, Ireland and works in the start-up internet industry.
