Hood College

Peggy graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in biology in 1973. During her time at Hood, Morse was a member of Beta Beta Beta and served as the recreation association treasurer (1971) and vice president (1972). Peggy was on many of the winning relay teams with Susie and Nancy. An exemplary sprinter, she set a record of 1:01:07 in the 100 freestyle and she won the MISAW swimming championship in the 50 freestyle. Peggy competed in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles and swam legs on both the 200 freestyle and medley relay teams at the Woman’s Intercollegiate National Swimming Championship at Illinois State University.
