Jessica Parrish graduated in 2009 with a bachelor of arts degree in management with a concentration in accounting.

While she participated for three different programs at Hood, she earned her greatest success on the track. She still holds school records in the 100-meter dash, the 200, long jump, triple jump and the 4x100 relay. Parrish was a three-time Capital Athletic Conference champion in the 100. As a junior she set the school and conference record with a time of 12.29. The time helped earn her the CAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Year Award and qualified her for the NCAA Championships, making her the first Blazer to accomplish either feat. In addition to the 100-meter title, she added CAC crowns in the 200, long jump and triple jump at the 2009 CAC Championships. Parrish returned for the 2010 season and overcame injuries to win her third straight 100 title at the CAC Championships, and seventh conference title of her career. She was named the CAC Rookie of the Year in 2008 after winning both the 100 and 200 at the conference championships. In all, Parrish earned nine All-CAC accolades during her track and field career and was the first women's track and field athlete in CAC history to win both the rookie and athlete of the year awards in her career.

On the basketball court, she played three seasons, appearing in 68 games, including 33 starts. Parrish scored 403 points and had 83 steals. She played two years of soccer, playing in 35 matches and finishing with nine goals, one assist and 19 points.
