Komolafe posted a pair of runner-up finishes at the 2011 Capital Athletic Conference championships in the 200- and 400-meter dashes, and was a member of the record-setting 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. He captured 11 individual titles and was part of two first-place relay squads in the blue-and-grey.

Off the track, was lauded as Hood's senior male scholar-athlete of the year, awarded to the senior male student-athlete with the highest GPA, as well as the co-most outstanding male student-athlete, given to a male student-athlete who has demonstrated exemplary athletic prowess. Komolafe was a member of the Dean's List, the Chi Alpha Sigma national student-athlete honor society and the CAC all-academic team. He also completed a Hood departmental honors project on wireless sensor network security.
